![]() Speak to the White Witch and exhaust her dialogue options to learn what you can, as well as get your next mission. Follow her there, and she stands near Zixzax and the Weaver of Time. She'll then teleport back to the Homestead, where she'll want to meet you to continue the tale. This starts a long conversation with the White Witch, who tells you her story, her name, and gives you a lot of information for the storyline. Your elemental friend will appear and quickly set her free. Stand near her prison, then activate the rune from your inventory. Teleport to the Hiberheim Prison Waypoint Portal, then head back to the White Witch. Even better, he'll give you a rune that summons him for one specific purpose. Exhaust the dialogue options, and you'll update Find the Witch! and A Source Hunter's Journey, as well as resolve Eternal Winter. You'll automatically speak to one of them. ![]() He moves slowly and attacks slowly, though if he hits, he hits pretty hard. The Guardian is basically immune to all status ailments, and his physical offense is incredibly high. You couldn't take him before, but if you're level 12, you should be able to beat him now. ![]() ![]() Bear east as you go: you're aiming for the eastern path that takes you to The Guardian. Teleport to the Hiberheim Forest Waypoint Portal, then move southeast. You may even want to consider hiring a fire-based Wizard from the Hall of Heroes, though he'll need to be a pretty high level. First, restock your supply of fire offense: you're about to encounter a pretty strong enemy that is pretty much invincible against everything but fire. Now it's time to work on some side quests before continuing the story. On the left of the battle room there is another treasure room but required Tornado skill to take away the magma. To open the stone with scriptures, buy a book from Victoria, the orc librarian. Once you finish looting the entire treasure room, you can teleport back to the Homestead and enter your new room, called the Hall of Secrets. You'll find two sheets of paper in the bottom-left corner of the room, one that updates The Legend of the Weresheep, and one that updates The Wishing Brother.Ī bit further on, you'll find and automatically activate a Star Stone. There are many things to collect, so be sure to hold ALT to see everything. Still, with the statues deactivated, you can bring the rest of the party up without fear of being attacked. Just past that is a pull chain do that, and the statues will deactivate, though the constant fireballs will continue. It's locked, but you can break it down fairly easily. If that doesn't work, if you stick against the railings in the center platform, the elementals will have trouble flanking you, though you might run out of room to retreat as well.īeyond that is a gate that bars your way. This will limit how much the elementals can attack you, and you might avoid being surrounded. Even if you don't need to fully retreat however, consider retreating back to the doorway. Boreas cannot heal, so any damage you do will stick. If you have to, don't forget that you can always flee from the battle to heal up if things get too dicey. However, unless you move the party together, it's unlikely that you can really use the statues to your advantage. Interacting with them gives the character a huge defense against that element. The four corners of the battlefield each feature statues of the different elements. Boreas will cycle the elements continually to keep you on your toes. Keep up the pressure on him, heal constantly, and only concentrate on the elementals if they start to get out of hand. A few rounds after that, he'll summon in some fire elementals and create a fiery ground all around you.Įven with a Rain spell, it may be difficult to move around much, so you'll want to use ranged attacks. Try to ignore them as best as possible unless you can use area attacks to strike the elementals along with Boreas himself. The first one up will be water, and he'll summon ice elementals. Use those first few relatively peaceful rounds to attack him as hard as you can with fiery offense.Įvery few turns, he'll not only summon friends, but he'll completely change the battlefield's element. At first, he'll be alone, but it won't be long before he summons a couple friends. Once you're inside and approach Boreas, he'll engage you after a conversation.
